Contributions to the Western States Petroleum Association California PAC (aka WSPA CA PAC) (FPPC ID# 141439) are not deductible for federal or state income tax purposes as charitable contributions. WSPA CA PAC may accept personal or corporate contributions. Contributions to WSPA CA PAC may be unlimited; however, under California law, up to $8,100 per year can be allocated to a PAC account that is permitted to make contributions to California state candidates. Contributions given to WSPA CA PAC that exceed California’s annual contribution limit will be placed in a PAC account that does not make contributions to state candidates and the funds will be used by WSPA CA PAC for other permissible expenditures.
